Aurora Heat is a Fort Smith company that hand-makes reusable warmers from wild-harvested beaver fur, combining the remarkable natural insulating properties of beaver fur with thoughtful, near-zero-waste production.
Like Bushkids, Aurora Heat is rooted here in the Northwest Territories and in the belief that Indigenous knowledge and a respectful relationship with the Land have much to teach us — especially about staying well through a northern winter.
Aurora Heat contributes $1 from every product sold online toward on-the-Land initiatives for children, youth, educators, and Indigenous knowledge holders across the North, including Bushkids.
